Hands-on server work
• Log in to Windows servers (RDP) and Linux servers (SSH) to validate alerts and perform first-level troubleshooting.
• Check and restart services, review logs, clear disk space, and verify connectivity (ping, traceroute, telnet, nslookup).

Process and documentation
• Create and update tickets in ITSM tools (ServiceNow or Jira) within SLA.

• Proven experience monitoring Windows servers, Linux servers, network devices (routers, switches, firewalls) and business applications.
• Hands-on server experience: has logged in to servers via RDP and SSH and performed basic tasks independently.
• Basic Windows Server administration: services, Event Viewer, Task Manager, disk management, IIS basics, user and permission checks.
• Basic Linux administration: common commands (top, df, du, free, ps, grep, systemctl, journalctl), file permissions and log navigation.
• Understanding of SNMP, WMI, ICMP and agent-based polling, plus networking basics (TCP/IP, DNS, ports, firewalls).
• Familiarity with ITIL incident, change and problem processes and an ITSM ticketing tool.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including weekends when rostered.
• Fluency in English
• Client-first mentality
