Stop hunting for jobs.
Let the right ones find you.
Slatebook is a career platform built for tech & product talent. You build your profile once. We do the rest — surfacing roles that genuinely fit, scoring them against what you’ve actually done, and quietly nudging the right opportunities to you while you focus on your day job.
Closed beta — invite-only for now.
Why we built Slatebook
Job hunting is broken — even for top talent.
You spend hours scrolling through job boards, filtering noise, re-writing the same résumé for the tenth time, and most of the roles you see are stale, mis-tagged, or built for someone else. Meanwhile, the roles you’d actually want are hidden three careers-page clicks deep on someone else’s ATS.
We thought the search-and-apply model was inverted. The signal is in your profile and your work — not in your willingness to search.
How it works
Three steps, then we take over.
- 1
Build your profile once
Upload a PDF resume and we extract everything in 10 seconds — work history, education, skills, projects, accomplishments. Edit anything that doesn't look right inline. Generate stronger résumé bullets with AI when you're ready.
- 2
Tell us what you're after
Target roles, locations, working style, what kind of company you want next. It's a 60-second form and you can change it any time.
- 3
Receive matches
Slatebook continuously scrapes hundreds of company career pages — both ATS-based (Greenhouse, Lever, Workday) and bespoke sites — and scores every new posting against your profile. You see only the ones that actually fit, scored 0–10 so the top of the page is always worth your time.
What’s different
Why this works when job boards don’t.
An agent, not a search box
We don't ask you to search. The platform continuously watches new postings, scores them against your profile and preferences, and surfaces only the matches. The default mode is push, not pull.
Semantic match, not keywords
A 5-year PM applying to PM roles doesn't want every JD that mentions 'product.' We embed your full profile as a vector and compare it semantically — same logic as modern AI search — so a PM role written in engineering-heavy language still scores correctly.
Built around your real work
The profile isn't a glorified text box. Side projects, vouches from past collaborators, education, accomplishments — every signal feeds the match. Stronger profile = better recommendations. And the same data drives ATS-friendly résumés and your Slate (a long-form public page).
Quiet by design
Your agent is off by default. Recruiters can't message you unless you've vouched-in. Your profile is private until you choose to publish a public Slate. Email digests are opt-in. We treat your inbox as sacred.
Network with substance
Connections, vouches, and collaborative project history make your profile harder to fake and easier to trust. It's not a follow graph — it's a working-together graph.
Closed by design
Slatebook is invite-only to start. Quality on day one matters more than volume. We'd rather 500 great profiles than 50,000 incomplete ones.
