Hiro is your personal AI hiring agent.
Not a shared search algorithm. Not a spammy newsletter. Hiro reads your Slatebook profile, watches every active role in India, and sends you a short weekly digest of the picks that actually fit — with an honest reason for each.
Hiro is part of Slatebook Pro. 3 months free when you complete your profile.
What Hiro does for you
Three things, done well every week.
A weekly digest of 5 hand-picked roles
Every Saturday morning, Hiro sends you a short email: an opener explaining what it noticed this week, five roles it thinks are worth your time, and for each — a one-liner on why, one thing that makes it compelling, one thing to watch out for. If Hiro can’t find at least three strong picks, it stays silent. No noise emails.
Job insights on any role you open
On any job that fits you, one click and Hiro tells you what already works in your favour, what’s missing from your profile, and the specific resume edits that would improve your fit. Coached, not cheerleaded.
Tailored resumes, without inventing anything
For a specific role, ask Hiro to tailor your resume and it rewrites your work-experience bullets to align with what the role asks for. Never invents achievements — only re-expresses what you’ve actually done, in the role’s language.
What Hiro will never do
Hiro is opinionated about your privacy.
Hiro reads your data to reason about job fit — that’s the whole point. But there’s a hard list of things it never writes, quotes, or hints at in anything you or anyone else sees:
- Your exact salary, CTC, or expected comp — even if you ask it to. Hiro thinks in comp bands, never in numbers.
- Your phone, email, home address, or date of birth.
- Anything about any OTHER Slatebook user. Hiro is scoped to just you — it doesn’t know other users exist.
- Anything from the personal preferences layer, when (later) writing recruiter replies on your behalf.
You can pause Hiro any time (one button, instantly reversible). We keep an append-only audit log of every LLM call Hiro makes on your behalf so you (and we) can verify what was said.
Frequently asked
The specifics.
Is Hiro just AI job recommendations?+
No. Recommendations are a shared algorithm giving everyone the same list. Hiro is your own agent — it reads your specific brief, your profile, your preferences, and picks 5 roles a week that actually fit your case. It also writes reasoning about each pick, tailors resumes for specific jobs, and (soon) drafts recruiter replies in your voice.
How does Hiro decide which jobs to send me?+
Hiro scores every active job on Slatebook against your profile, keeps the ones scoring 6.5+/10, then reasons over that shortlist against your written brief. It weighs your stated industry / culture / role preferences over raw score, so a good-fit fintech role can beat a higher-scored SaaS role you didn't ask for.
How often does Hiro send emails?+
One weekly digest, Saturday morning IST. If Hiro can't find at least 3 solid picks for you that week, it stays silent — better than sending a two-role digest that reads like an empty inbox.
What data does Hiro use, and what does it never share?+
Hiro uses your profile, work experience, skills, and the brief you write for it. It never surfaces your salary, phone, email, or date of birth in anything it writes — even if you ask it to. It never sees or reasons about other Slatebook users' data.
Can I pause or turn Hiro off?+
Yes — one button on your Hiro page pauses everything (digests + nudges) instantly. Your settings and past digests stay saved. Un-pause anytime.
Is Hiro free?+
Hiro is included in Slatebook Pro. If you complete your profile within your first week, you get 3 months of Pro on the house (no card required). Tier-1 institution alumni get another 3 months on top of that.
