Job Brief: Join Parle Agro Private Limited's Production team as a skilled Sleeve Operator responsible for the precise application of shrink sleeves on packaging containers within our food production line. This role demands meticulous attention to detail, adherence to safety and quality standards, and the ability to operate and maintain sleeve application machinery efficiently. The ideal candidate will contribute to maintaining high production throughput while ensuring packaging integrity and compliance with industry regulations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities: Set up and operate sleeve application machinery to apply shrink sleeves accurately on various packaging containers. Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain consistent sleeve placement and quality. Conduct routine inspections of sleeves and packaging materials to ensure compliance with company and food safety standards. Perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on sleeve application equipment to minimize downtime. Collaborate with quality control teams to identify and resolve packaging defects or inconsistencies promptly. Maintain detailed production logs and report any operational issues or deviations to the production supervisor. Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and hygiene protocols specific to food production environments. Assist in training new operators on machine operation, safety procedures, and quality standards. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance sleeve application efficiency and reduce waste. Coordinate with inventory management to ensure availability of sleeves and related materials for uninterrupted production. Skill: Shrink Sleeve Application Packaging Machinery Operation Preventive Maintenance Quality Control Compliance Food Safety Standards Troubleshooting Mechanical Issues Production Line Coordination Safety and Hygiene Protocols Machine Setup and Calibration Documentation and Reporting Preferred Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in machine operation or packaging technology is advantageous. Minimum 2 years of experience operating sleeve application or similar packaging machinery in the food production industry.
