Designation Assistant Executive - Quality Assurance Function Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs Location Guwahati Reporting To Manager - Quality Assurance (Foods) Job Description What are the Key Deliverables in this role ? Financial Outcomes Ù Cost of poor quality & wastage reduction : Develop evaluation metrics and tracking cost of poor quality across 3P manufacturing units. Take proactive measures to reduce FG rejections and product recalls. Customer Service Ù Customer/Consumer Complaints : Monitor the customer & consumer complaints, prepare detailed root cause analysis and mitigation plan to be prepared for genuine complaints. Internal Processes Ù Q&FS Score, Analytical Compliance of Product & Packaging to FSSAI standard, GMP : Planning and testing of plant internal sample at external lab and review RFT on Monthly basis and Necessary Continuous Improvement Plan to Failures (if any). Ù Monitor the Variance between Internal & External Testing results. Ù Implement ISO 22000 /FSMS at 3P manufacturing facility and sustain. Drive Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) at all Plants. Ù Driving FSSC and developing systems to meet export country requirements (FDA) in 3P units based on business requirements. Ù Conducting process capability study and other process improvement activities using TQM tools Innovation and Learning Ù Lead and inspire the team of plant quality team by identifying the gaps and define the strategy for capability interventions at the plant level. Implement KAIZEN and continuous process improvements at the units. What are the Critical success factors for the Role ? Ù Master’s/bachelor’s degree in food technology and or equivalent life sciences background Ù 4-6 years of relevant work experience in Quality Management or Operations within the food processing industry, preferably in Noodles, Salt, Staples, Besan, Poha, and Dry Fruits categories. Experience in Noodle manufacturing is highly desirable. Ù Experience in working with third party business models. Ù Experience of preparing and implementing FSSAI / HACCP / FSMS in food processing facility Ù Imparting training to educate the shop floor employees on GMP/Food Safety/FSSC 22000 requirements/ FSSAI requirements. Ù Candidate must speak and understand Tamil language What are the Desirable success factors for the Role ? Ù Knowledge of HACCP, Food safety management systems and GMP guidelines with Auditing skills Ù Good leadership quality, analytical and communications skills with ability to manage multiple stakeholders. Ù Creative and effective problem solver, sound and reliable judgment, and unquestionable integrity. Ù People manager, focused on capability building of quality team members Ù Proficiency in SAP, excel, power point & word.
