What you will do:
In this role, you will lead an in-house development team and collaborate with product management, product design and project management.
You will lead the development new products to take to our clients by leveraging cloud technologies. You will work on solving problems of relatively complex scope through general use of standard programming concepts and principles, and application of own judgment. You will be a member of a squad that has the technical capability to develop and implement various components of an application from end to end. You will develop and implement new and ongoing application needs to complete the end-to-end setup of the product.
You will have a strong understanding of key agile engineering practices to guide teams and contribute to growing and improving our engineering practices.
You will be based in our Bengaluru, Delhi, Gurugram or Mumbai office as part of McKinsey Digital. This group brings together the best of McKinsey’s digital capabilities to help our clients use digital technology to transform their businesses.
As part of this group, you’ll join a global team working on everything from IT modernization and strategy to agile, cloud, cybersecurity, and digital transformation. You’ll typically work on projects across all industries and functions and will be fully integrated with the rest of our global firm. You’ll also work with colleagues from across McKinsey & Company to help our clients deliver breakthrough products, experiences and businesses, both on technology and non-technology topics.

Your background:
15+ years of deep tech experience with application development experience in contemporary backend and frontend languages
10+ years of experience developing cloud native applications preferably using any cloud platform, with a good understanding of distributed architecture, micro services, API, and n-tier architecture
Certified AWS solutions architect, Azure solutions architect or GCP solutions architect
Experience with Java or Node JS or Python
Experience working with microservices and event driven architecture
Experience working with container orchestration managers such as Kubernetes
Experience with TDD and DevOps practices and tooling
