Finance Process Lead - Accounts Payable

What you will do:
You will be responsible for a variety of activities related to Accounts Payable process, primarily providing your support & guidance to ensure timely processing of invoices and timely closure of sub-ledger books for the assigned offices to ensure the SLAs are always met. You will spend around 40% of your time processing the invoices within the agreed service levels with high quality standards.
You will regularly analyze the process, identify improvement areas and recommend new ideas to improve the overall process and thereby improving the customer satisfaction. You will develop, implement, report and review KPI’s regularly with the functional leadership.
You will be an effective team player, work along with other teams to achieve the common goals of the firm. You will facilitate and impart functional training for members. You will ensure policy changes and business process documentations (SOPs) are updated regularly. You will drive transitions with complete ownership right from due diligence, planning, allocating responsibilities, knowledge transfer, implementation and process stabilization.
You will be based in our Chennai office as part of our accounts payable team, which is part of our Finance Global Operations function. This team works in coordination with offices, finance accounting, global procurement, approvers and applications support team to perform appropriate accounting and to ensure on time payment to vendors.

Your background:
5+ years of experience in a shared services environment in Accounts Payable
Good knowledge of MS-Office and Accounting Concepts
Prior transition experience preferred
Flexibility to work in shifts
Good verbal and written communication skills
