About Slatebook
The job search is broken. Slatebook is building a quiet, high-signal, invite-only career platform for top tech and product talent. Driven by an AI matching engine and autonomous agents, we connect the right people to the right opportunities without the noise of traditional job boards.
The Mission
We are looking for a scrappy, data-driven Growth Marketing Intern. Your primary focus will be scaling our top-of-funnel user acquisition and platform visibility. At the same time, you will collaborate closely with Product Management to design lifecycle marketing campaigns that keep acquired users engaged and returning to the platform.
What You Will Own:
Platform Visibility & SEO: Optimize organic visibility, track search scores, and execute programmatic or content-led SEO strategies to position Slatebook where top talent looks for career insights.
High-Signal Acquisition: Identify and tap into organic distribution channels (LinkedIn, X, specialized tech communities, Subreddits) to drive high-quality traffic and sign-ups.
Content & Distribution Loops: Create and distribute compelling, high-signal content (case studies, teardowns, or newsletters) that resonates specifically with engineering and product management personas.
Lifecycle & Retention Marketing: Partner with the Product Manager to design, launch, and optimize email, WhatsApp, or notification campaigns aimed at improving user onboarding, activation, and week-over-week retention.
Data & Analytics: Monitor acquisition funnels, open rates, and click-through rates (CTRs) to ruthlessly optimize marketing performance based on hard metrics.
Who You Are:
Growth Mindset: You don't just wait for a playbook; you look for loops, growth hacks, and creative angles to get eyeballs on a product.
Fluent in Tech Culture: You understand the product and engineering landscape. You know how tech professionals think, what they value, and what type of copy turns them off.
Data-Informed Copywriter: You can write sharp, crisp, high-converting copy for emails and social distribution, and you rely on data to see if it worked.
Tool Savvy: Familiarity with growth marketing tools (e.g., Webflow, Notion, Loops/Klaviyo, GA4, Canva) is a massive plus.
The Perks:
