We are looking for candidates to join the Asset Management function within our Private Credit team in the Financial Research group, based in Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Gurugram. The Private Credit team underwrites investment opportunities across public and private corporate credit, commercial real estate, loan portfolios, and special situations in Europe and North America. The Asset Management function sits within this team, monitoring investment performance and dealing cash flows, and managing key commercial aspects of the portfolio including exit strategies, servicer effectiveness, and pricing.
Responsibilities:
On a day-to-day basis, you will oversee deal onboarding into proprietary platforms and develop comprehensive end-to-end reporting frameworks. You will review borrower business models, cash flow forecasts, debt capacity, and collateral, and perform detailed financial modeling, including ROI, IRR, and discounted cash flow analysis to support portfolio oversight and investment decisions. The role involves regular engagement with borrowers, lenders, and other stakeholders across calls and meetings. You will develop cash management strategies for future funding needs, oversee capital allocation and funding processes, and monitor company developments, competitor actions, and industry trends to inform strategic decisions. You will track covenant compliance, monitor portfolio investments, and contribute to the development of asset exit strategies. A critical function of this role is to identify and escalate early signs of asset distress or underperformance and lead restructuring, amendment, or workout processes for distressed assets. You will also support valuations, portfolio reviews, and business plan deviation analysis on monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles.
Who we're looking for:
Basic qualifications:
An MBA or equivalent in Finance, with 2 to 13 years of experience in corporate credit analysis and asset management, with a robust grounding in financial concepts and advanced quantitative modeling capabilities
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with trading desks and stakeholders
Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with keen attention to detail
Proven experience leading complex projects
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with structured finance asset classes
