Job Description: Associate - Category Demand Management
Experience Required:
3.0-5.0 years
As an Associate in Category Demand Management, you will play a critical role in optimizing demand planning and forecasting processes to support the organization's category management objectives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and sales data to drive strategic decisions that maximize product availability and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct demand planning and forecasting activities to ensure accurate stock levels and inventory optimization.
Collaborate with category managers and sales teams to understand market demands and develop strategies to meet customer requirements.
Analyze historical sales data and market trends to predict future demand patterns and identify opportunities for growth.
Monitor product performance and sales metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Work closely with supply chain and logistics teams to optimize inventory levels and minimize out-of-stock situations.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products and effective supply chain management.
Prepare reports and presentations to communicate demand forecasts, inventory projections, and performance metrics to key stakeholders.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in demand planning and category management to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on special projects and initiatives to support the overall business objectives of the organization.
