Financial Outcomes  Ability to add value by creating menus for customers and other means to enhance the coffee experience Customer Service  Must have ability to assess coffee quality at customer locations and make small tweaks to optimize taste as per customer requirements.  Tactfully handle customer complaints at five star hotels. Prompt, professional behaviour essential. Build processes to ensure smooth functioning.  Understand customer requirements and recommend most suitable options.  Train hotel staff – should be able to train Baristas / frontline staff on improving delviery Internal Processes  Monitor adherence to company recipes and preparation standards.  Conduct regular quality audits across outlets and vending locations.  Identify quality gaps and implement corrective actions.Evaluate coffee beans, milk, syrups, and ingredient quality.  Prepare coffee beverages across espresso and other methods according to standard recipes.  Good understanding of espresso machines, grinders, coffee brewers, and related equipment.  Understand factors impacting end cup quality and ability to ensure consistency in beverage taste, presentation, and temperature. Innovation & Learning  Develop initiatives to improve beverage consistency and service quality. What are the Critical success factors for the Role?  Barista Certification & reasonably good end cup evaluation skills.  Coffee menu creation skills.  Ability to train a barista.  Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology, Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Quality Management, or related field.  Speciality coffee experience. What are the Desirable success factors for the Role?  3-4 years hand on coffee experience in coffee shops, cafés, hotels, restaurants, or vending operations. At least 1 year at a entry level +1 level.  Must have worked with semi-automatic professional machines. Experience with all type of espresso machines added advantage.  Coffee preparation and latte art.  Customer service orientation.  Good communication skills.  Quality Management skills.
