What will you be doing?  

Microsoft and InMobi have entered into partnership, as per which, InMobi will be the preferred partner for Microsoft’s Search and Audience Inventory (Native Display and Video). Microsoft Advertising empowers the largest advertisers around the world to reach their maximum potential through Search, Native, Video and Display advertising on Microsoft platforms and inventory. InMobi will be responsible for sales and development followed by end to end management of these client activities. 

About the role

This is an operational, execution-focused role supporting Central Accounts, a team that operates across regions rather than within a single market. The role primarily focuses on the Bing business, with scope to expand into other partnerships over time. Success depends on strong Search expertise, a working command of platform policy, and the ability to keep client accounts live and delivering.

Roles & Responsibilities

Account and Partner Management

Serve as the primary point of contact, managing day-to-day communication and ensuring booked campaigns go live on time, run smoothly, and deliver against booked revenue targets.
Develop a strong understanding of clients' business goals and performance metrics, and support the sales team to grow revenue and strengthen client relationships.
Monitor campaign performance closely, ensuring alignment with client objectives and recommending optimizations or improvement opportunities.
Coordinate with internal teams, including ad operations, sales, product, and finance, to ensure seamless campaign execution and client satisfaction.
Lead regular performance reviews, providing insights and strategic recommendations.

Search Platform & Policy

Manage client activity on Bing (and other Search platforms), advising on effective setup and optimization.
Understand Bing policy and know how to whitelist accounts, keeping client accounts compliant and live.
Work quickly to unblock or reinstate suspended accounts; established relationships with Bing policy teams are a significant advantage.
Support client onboarding end to end, ensuring new accounts are set up correctly and activated smoothly.

Reporting & Analytics

Prepare detailed reports on campaign performance, revenue generation, and other key metrics to keep clients informed and engaged.
Use analytics or BI tools to maintain dashboards and keep all reporting and reference materials in a centralized, well-organized location.
Communicate insights effectively, translating complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for clients.
Partner with Finance to ensure all numbers are reported accurately.

What is expected of you

Search expertise: Solid hands-on Search experience is essential (Bing preferred; Google acceptable). Familiarity with additional platforms is advantageous.
Policy fluency: Understanding of Bing policy, account whitelisting, and the process for unblocking suspended accounts. Existing relationships with Bing policy teams are a strong plus.
Client-centric mindset: Passionate about delivering exceptional client service, with a strong commitment to understanding and addressing client needs.
Analytical prowess: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions to optimize client outcomes.
Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to clients and internal stakeholders.
Problem-solving ability: Adept at identifying issues and providing effective solutions to ensure client satisfaction and campaign success.
Proactivity: Takes initiative, whether spotting new opportunities or addressing potential issues before they escalate.
Team collaboration: Works closely with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless service to advertisers.
Project management: Able to take on and complete small projects that drive value for InMobi and its clients.

Experience

8-12 years of relevant experience in Account Management, Search, or platform operations. This is a mid-level, execution-focused role with senior-level ownership expectations.

Preferred

Existing relationships within Bing / Microsoft Advertising policy teams.
Experience across multiple Search or advertising platforms.
Proficiency in Excel for data analysis, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and broader data analysis.
Bing Ads (Microsoft Advertising) certification.
